This bright and modern lodge, situated in the expansive Norfolk countryside with its intriguing Broads and sandy coastlines, is the perfect getaway for relaxing and having fun with a group of loved ones. This property has five bedrooms accommodating up to 10 guests, and its open plan living area with its vaulted ceiling and large windows provides plenty of space for guests to kick back, relax and make the most of precious time together. Uncluttered and simply, yet stylishly, furnished, the space has a neutral decor and pale wooden flooring which is complimented by exposed timbers and brickwork, soft furnishings, cool lighting and potted plants.

Three large sofas form a living area which is the ideal spot to relax in front of a movie, play boardgames or enjoy after-dinner drinks. This fun space features a cinema sized screen with Netflix and table football - for a pre-dinner competition, perhaps? Mealtimes for the masses are a joy to prepare in the modern, well-equipped kitchen. A large island sits in the centre giving guests plenty of workspace to help chef with the chopping, peeling and slicing, and maybe pouring a glass of wine or two. There is a large wooden dining table positioned directly opposite the bifold doors where diners can take their time over meals while enjoying the lovely views.

Grown-ups will love the large windows which stretch around the property, offering views out onto the large, lawned and fenced garden. Pull back the bi-folds, send the youngsters out to play and enjoy a few peaceful moments. There is a lovely patio with comfy outdoor furniture and a dining table for al fresco meal times on balmy summer days. Finish the day by sliding into the wood fired hot tub and enjoying the sunset over the expansive Norfolk sky.

Once bedtime calls, there will be no fighting over bedrooms, each is as luxurious as the other. Four are king sized and have beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers and free standing baths - a great place to spend some time alone, sinking into a bubble bath while contemplating the day. Children will love sharing the twin bedroom with its cute scatter cushions and cool exposed brick wall.

When it's time for a night off cooking, take a short stroll to The Cross Keys for drinks, pub grub classics and a riverside location. And for those wanting to explore the waterways, boats and canoes can be hired at nearby Wayford.
