Ardheslaig is a beautiful and remote crofting settlement at the northern end of the Applecross peninsula in the Scottish Highlands. Tigh A'Mhuillin cottage offers you and your loved ones the chance to truly experience this incredible part of Scotland, offering a cosy yet modern and comfortable place to stay. Situated right on the edge of the sea, you’ll be able to relax and unwind whilst taking in the outstanding coastal views.
Inside, the home has a bright and spacious living room, with whitewashed walls and big windows that flood the space with natural light. This room has a sofa down one wall and a comfy corner chair sitting next to the wood-burning fireplace, so you can stay toasty and warm whilst tucking into a good book or gazing out at the sea.
From the lounge, you can make your way into the modern and nicely-equipped kitchen. Here you can whip up delicious feasts during your stay, which you can enjoy at the beautiful, ornate dining table.
When night falls, head to the master bedroom, which features a double bed and a big window offering yet more lovely views. There’s also a second double bed that is situated in the loft on the top floor, which is open to the downstairs, but tucked nicely away for privacy.
There’s also a nice study, with a desk positioned in front of a picture window, so you can catch up with some work whilst gazing out over the incredible view. Tigh A'Mhuillin also has a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience.
Ardheslaig, a peaceful hamlet on Scotland’s west coast, offers beautiful walks and stunning views of Loch Torridon. Explore scenic coastal paths, spot wildlife like seals and seabirds and enjoy the rugged landscapes of Torridon Hills. Nearby, the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve offers excellent hiking trails. For a taste of local culture, visit the charming village of Shieldaig, known for its seafood and breathtaking lochside views.
