Privacy and intimacy are guaranteed in this idyllic property, perfectly located amongst ancient woodlands for adventures in nature, and a wonderful base to unwind given the excellent renovations carried out in 2024. Having arrived at the barn via a private tree lined lane, you will be delighted by the 18th century original purlin beams and stone walls which evoke the history of the property and the local area, while the high quality, contemporary kitchen and bathroom facilities ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The airy open plan living and dining area, accentuated by vaulted ceilings, natural light and picturesque views, is a wonderful location for mornings spent lounging in sunlight and catching up on your reading list. Perhaps you might wander out to the small meadow in front of the property and begin the day with a coffee whilst marvelling at the astounding dawn chorus of birdsong.

Warm up on chilly evenings by sinking into the cosy brushed leather sofa or armchair in front of the 43 inch smart TV to keep up to date with the latest television series from Apple TV, Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. Or gather round the dining table and embrace your competitive spirit with a board game, remaining toasty due to the fantastic underfloor heating and snuggly sheepskin rug.

In the mood for alfresco dining? You will find the BBQ and outdoor seating in the private courtyard an ideal set up for an evening feast with breathtaking views of enchanting sunsets over the grassy woodland. If it’s a bit chilly outside, rustle up a meal by turning to the fully equipped, modern kitchen indoors which is attractively furnished with quartz surfaces, forest green units and brass fittings.

Indulge in lie ins and breakfast in bed in the luxurious king size bed with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside. The walk-in rainfall shower in the safari-style ensuite bathroom, as well as the underfloor heating, ensures you stay comfortable whatever the season.

The location of the barn is ideal for journeys into nature since the Yorkshire Dales National Park is right on your doorstep, providing a plethora of opportunities for hiking and cycling. The National Trust’s Brimham Rocks are another nearby geographical must-see for nature lovers.

In just a few minutes of walking you will reach Pateley Bridge, a small market town replete with delightful cafes and pubs, Nidderdale Museum – and even The Oldest Sweet Shop In The World! The mediaeval ruins of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are a delightful way to engage with the rich history of the local area. In addition, Harrogate is just a 30-minute drive away where the Turkish Baths, charming shops and restaurants create a wonderful day out.
