In the heart of a pretty village, quintessentially English with an old church and cosy pub, this beautiful former vicarage is the ideal spot for large groups to gather, relax and make memories together.
Guests will be immediately drawn to the large kitchen at the heart of the house. A huge island makes food prep a breeze, especially when everyone lends a hand with the peeling, chopping and wine pouring. For moments of quiet contemplation, curl up in the window seat or catch up on emails at the kitchen table which sits directly next to one of the Vicarage's three wood burning fires.
There are two sitting rooms with original features including wooden roof beams and inglenook fireplaces. There are plenty of large sofas and arm chairs, perfect for cosy nights watching the television, playing board games or simply catching up with loved ones.
Start your day in style and enjoy breakfast in the sun room, or perhaps a quiet coffee in the conservatory, whilst gazing out at the garden and hatching plans for the day.
Youngsters, and pets, will love playing on the spacious lawns which stretch around the property. With stone walls keeping children safe, but with lots of trees and planting providing quality hiding places, parents can relax and enjoy themselves while young ones safely embark on adventures.
On sunny days, fire up the BBQ for lazy afternoons sipping beers and grilling local produce. There is plenty of outdoor furniture for guests to lounge on, read, catch up with loved ones or simply relax in the sunlight. At night, turn on the hot tub for a soak under the stars.
After long days relaxing, reconnecting and exploring, tired guests can choose from one of 10 bedrooms, six of which are ensuite, to retire to for the evening. One bedroom is on the ground floor, perfect for those with mobility issues, there is a double with a treadmill, and another with a piano, so there's a room for everyone, whatever their requirements.
The local area has plenty to keep guests occupied, from beautiful walks and bike rides to shopping at the famous MetroCentre mall, which is a 10-mile drive away. For nights out, book a table at The White Swan, it's just a few minutes' walk away from the property and has good food and a large beer garden.
