The Old Post Office offers a cosy and warm retreat in a former Post Office building on the Isle of Skye. Sleeping two guests, this rustic home offers wonderful access to all that Skye has to offer and is situated in the quiet and quaint village of Bernisdale, about five miles out of Portree.
The home has been lovingly converted into a space that’s ideal for a romantic break by the sea. As you step out your front door, you’re only a short walk from the shores of the spectacular Loch Snizort, a marvellous sea lock in northern Skye. And after a day exploring the nearby loch, retire back to your home and throw some logs on the wood-burner in the cosy living room. Here you can warm your toes by the flames as you enjoy a good book or a glass of wine. There’s also a large wall-mounted TV in the living room, should you wish to enjoy a movie night with your loved one.
The Old Post Office also has a quaint kitchen, that’s small but nicely equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals for two. And off the kitchen is a cute dining table, that provides you with the perfect setting for romantic dinners.
When night falls, the bedroom has a comfy double bed and there’s a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
Guests can make the most of the gardens at both the front and the rear, which offer a delightful spot to sit with a morning coffee as you plan the day ahead.

The Quiraing, another iconic landscape, is perfect for hiking. Visit the colourful harbour and stroll through Portree’s charming streets with its quaint shops and cafes.
Guests can also take a boat trip to spot seals and dolphins, or visit the Talisker Distillery for a whisky tour. The Fairy Pools and Dunvegan Castle are also must-see attractions, showcasing Skye’s natural beauty and rich history.
