When you arrive, throw some logs on the wood-burning fireplace in the open-plan living area and stay toasty and warm as you take in the view through the giant floor-to-ceiling windows. The home sits 50-60 meters above the coast, next to a croft, and looks out over the islands of Isay and Mingay just off the coast of Waternish.
The modern, stylish living room has a big comfy sofa and two lovely armchairs, so you’ve got plenty of space to relax and unwind. Put your feet up with a book or enjoy a movie on the wall-mounted TV.
Behind the sofa sits the modern kitchen, which is nicely equipped with contemporary appliances. And when dinner’s ready, get comfy on the round dining table that sits next to the giant windows offering you the chance to enjoy a meal with a view.
Sit with a glass of wine and watch as the sun sets, before heading to bed in the comfy and cosy bedroom that features a spacious double bed. This part of Waternish is a designated Dark Skies area, offering a stunning array of stars on clear nights so you can sit out and spot the constellations above.
Discover the captivating Waternish Peninsula on Skye, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and photographers. Wander along rugged coastal trails with breathtaking vistas, or paddle through tranquil waters, spotting seals and seabirds. Take a boat trip to uncover hidden coves and secret beaches. Just 3.5 km away, indulge in fine dining at Loch Bay, Skye’s only Michelin-starred restaurant. For a taste of local heritage, visit the historic Stein Inn, the island’s oldest pub, where hearty meals and a warm welcome await.
