Cosy underground house tucked away in the rolling hills of Mid Wales with stunning views from the hot tub, perfect for a relaxing couple’s escape.
This stylish underground house is set into the beautiful rolling hills of Mid Wales, offering stunning views over the countryside while blending in with the scenery. Relax in the hot tub, snuggle up on the sofa or enjoy your meals at the outdoor table, all while soaking up the sweeping views of the Banwy Valley. You'll be able to watch the local wildlife from your cosy hideaway, perhaps being lucky enough to spot hares in the fields and even red kites overhead. This is the perfect spot for couples or small families to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature.
The interior feels surprisingly spacious with an open-plan layout that makes the most of the view and the natural light coming through the full-height windows. There's a covered porch where you can leave any muddy boots before stepping inside to the living area. Here you can relax on the sofa in the evenings in front of the smart TV or curl up with a good book. There's a cleverly designed kitchen that packs in everything you'll need to whip up simple meals and you can choose between eating at the breakfast bar or outside at the picnic table.
Move a bit further into the house and you'll find the luxurious king size bed with plush bedding and soft pillows, ensuring a restful night's sleep. It's set below a spherical skylight so you can lie in bed and do a bit of stargazing on clear nights in the beautiful dark skies of Mid Wales. The sofa can be converted into another bed if you need a bit of extra sleeping space. There's also a bathroom, complete with a spacious shower and a heated rail to keep your towels warm and fluffy.
When the sun is shining, make the most of the outdoors and relax on the outdoor furniture taking in the scenery. There's a covered area, also built into the hillside, where you'll find the hot tub so you can make full use of it whatever the weather. If you can tear yourselves away from your peaceful hideaway, there's plenty of exploring to do. Discover the medieval Powis Castle and its stunning gardens or head down to Lake Vyrnwy for a scenic walk or some watersports. Head up into the Berwyn mountains and go for a walk to Pistyll Rhaeadr, one of the highest waterfalls in Wales, or explore the charming market towns of Welshpool and Montgomery.
