The Lake House is a luxury glamping pod tucked away on the edge of a scenic lake in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, this charming home is ideal for two couples, a small group of friends or a family of four.
When you arrive, you and your loved ones will want to drop your bags off and get comfy on the private deck overlooking the lake. This is the perfect place to unwind with a drink in your hand enjoying the tranquillity of your surroundings.
Stepping inside, the lodge has an open plan living area, with giant windows overlooking the water, allowing you to enjoy the view from indoors. There’s a quaint kitchenette to one side of the living space that is stylish and modern, with a microwave and fridge. And on the other side sits a comfy and cosy seating area, with a flat-screen Smart TV for movie nights. You also have a dining table for four, that sits near the windows so you can enjoy meals with a view.
Guests staying at The Lake House also have their very own private hot tub overlooking some beautiful rolling scenery. Grab a glass of bubbles, hop into the tub and enjoy an indulgent soak whilst taking in your surroundings.
As night falls, head to one of the two cosy, comfy bedrooms, both of which feature a double bed for a peaceful night’s sleep. The lodge also has a modern bathroom with a shower and there is WiFi throughout so you can stay connected during your stay.
The lake on which you’re staying, is an idyllic place to unwind. However, avid anglers are also able to bring their rods with them and enjoy some fishing in the lake, which is well stocked with carp up to 30lb, tench, perch, roach and rudd.
If you wish to venture out and explore, then there are two lovely local pubs within walking distance and you’re also just one mile from the Barnham Railway Station.
You’re also a short drive from the South Downs National Park, which offers stunning landscapes, rolling hills and picturesque walking trails. It’s a perfect escape into nature, with breathtaking views and charming villages.
If you're looking for a change of pace, you're just a short drive from the seaside town of Bognor Regis, known for its beautiful beach and family-friendly attractions. Slightly further along the coast, you’ll find Worthing, offering a vibrant blend of seaside charm, arts and shopping.
