Situated on the picturesque banks of the River Dart in South Devon, The Boathouse is a beautiful retreat for four originally built in the 1850s. The home has now been lovingly restored into a contemporary waterside stay offering lovely river views,

As you arrive at the Boathouse, you'll drive through the picturesque Sandridge Barton Vineyard before the owners greet you and transport you to the riverbank property. Upon reaching the holiday home, you'll descend a steep set of 71 steps, taking in breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the River Dart, setting the scene for a tranquil and memorable stay.

The main social hub of the home is the open plan living space. Here you’ll find a light and open room with floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch the width of the home. Get comfy with a drink in hand and take in the panoramic river views, or open the French doors up and step out onto your balcony and breathe in the fresh Devon air as you gaze out across the water.

Back inside, the living space has a TV and DVD player for movie nights and there’s a wood-burning fireplace to ensure you stay toasty and warm whatever the weather outside.

When tummies rumble, the charming kitchen has all you’ll need to prepare hearty meals during your stay. When dinner’s ready, serve it up at the dining table for four, or dine alfresco on the balcony on sunny days.

Upstairs, you'll find two beautifully appointed bedrooms designed for comfort and relaxation. The master suite features a plush king-sized bed, a stylish ensuite bathroom and breathtaking, panoramic views of the River Dart - perfect for waking up to the serene beauty of the water each morning.
