The lodge is situated on the banks of the River Earn, popular with anglers fishing for salmon and trout, on the grounds of the Braidhaugh Holiday Park. This beautiful location offers guests the chance to experience river life up close, as views look directly out onto the water. Beyond the river, are the spectacular Scottish Highlands, providing a wealth of opportunities for lovers of the great outdoors.
And, after a long day hiking, riding and exploring the awe-inspiring hills, this lodge make the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this special location. Pour a drink and slide into the hot tub, for your exclusive use, and take in the sights and sounds of the riverbank. Listen to the birdsong, gaze up at the sky and enjoy every moment of your trip.
The Riverside Lodge has a stylish interior, and the living/dining areas are open plan - so you won't miss a moment of the fun. This room includes a comfy corner sofa, wood burner and wall mounted flat screen television.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast while supper can be enjoyed at the dining table or outside on the deck, which also has a barbecue. At bedtime, slip between the fresh linen sheets of the double bed in the master bedroom. Two large windows fill the room with light and air. The good-sized en-suite is fitted with white, modern units and has a walk in shower. The master bedroom sleeps two, and the other two gets make use of the pull out sofa bed.
Guests have access to the park's many facilities. Children will love the outdoor play area which has swings, a climbing frame and sand pit. Or, if the weather gets unpredictable, there is an indoor games room with a television and air hockey table.
Beyond the park there are some fabulous spots to discover, from the charming market town Crieff, well-known for its cattle-droving and whiskey distilling, to pretty Comrie which sits on the confluence of three rivers and has a famous 'white church'.
Up into the highlands, Braidhaugh Glen Lednock is a must for wildlife lover's. This beautiful glen is home to the elusive Scottish wildcat and capercaillie, golden eagle, buzzard, mountain hare, grouse and number of deer species.
