This stunning wooden pod is the perfect romantic retreat for couples seeking peace and tranquility amongst the beautiful South Downs. Longhorn may be small but it packs in some huge views and a lot of luxury. It has a stunning window wall which brings pools of natural light into the lodge and illuminates the high-end furnishings and finishes.

At the far end of this curved-roof timber structure is a super-king bed dressed in crisp linens and snuggly duvets and blankets. Go to sleep with views of the breathtaking night sky stretching over the countryside beyond and wake to views of wildlife bumbling about their business amongst the green fields and pretty hedgerows.

Hop out of bed and make morning coffee in the kitchen area. Grab a croissant or a bagel and eggs and wander outside to the completely private deck where a table and chairs await visitors, anticipating a morning of peace and tranquility.

Breathe in the fresh air and take in the luscious multitude of greens which make up the stunning landscape. A wonderful touch is the tin outdoor bath where guests will undoubtedly want to both start and end their days! With warm water, endless, uninterrupted views and no one else to attend too, it really does offer some very special alone time.

A cosy seating area with upholstered armchairs gives guests a place to relax in comfort should the weather turn chilly, or just hop back into bed, there is a large flat screen television positioned on the opposite wall, should any entertainment be required.

In this ultimate glamping experience, there is even a beautiful shower room found inside the pod, no need for night time toilet treks across dark fields. Wood clad, with oodles of hot water, and fluffy white towels, the shower makes getting ready for night's out, after sweaty yomps over hills, a breeze. And, there are plenty of lovely places nearby to indulge in romantic dinners. Seven Stars and Ye Olde George Inn are both within two miles and come well-recommended for cosy, quiet pub dinners.
