Set within the New Forest National Park, Hazelhurst Farm is a former dairy which has recently been transformed into luxury holiday cottages, with a beautiful barn available for celebrations when you hire the whole site with your nearest and dearest.
Many of the original farm buildings are now cosy cottages suitable for between two and four guests, perfect for quiet country breaks for couples and families. Choose between the Milking Parlour, the Piggery, Orchard Cottage, the Cowman's Cottage, Shephard's Crook and Dormouse. There’s also the option of having exclusive use of the site for groups of up to 30 guests along with hire of the Barn, perfect for big celebrations.
There are six cottages to choose from and the Farmhouse will also be available soon for groups of up to eight guests. Five of the cottages comfortably sleep up to four, making them cosy boltholes for small families or couples. Dormouse is a quirky little cottage which makes a romantic little hideaway for two with its own terrace and garden.
All of the cottages have been beautifully furnished in a contemporary country style which invites you to sit back and relax while the Control4 touch screen system creates the perfect atmosphere. This fully integrated system will provide you with free WIFI, integration with your own media apps for the TV and sound system and gives you easy control over the lighting and heating.
You’ll be free to explore the 40 acres that make up the farm during your stay. Stroll through enchanting woodland, dotted with wildflowers and across the fields, perhaps spotting some of the local wildlife along the way. You’ll be able to say hello to some of the horses that live on the farm as part of its equestrian facility and they might provide you with an audience if you fancy a game on the tennis court.
The converted hay barn is all yours when you hire the whole site. It makes a magical spot for a candlelit dinner for up to 30 guests and you'll have your own private bar area with woodburning stoves, sofas to lounge on or watch a film on the cinema screen.
Venture a little further afield and you’ll find plenty to do right on your doorstep in the New Forest National Park. The farm is located just outside of Lymington and close to the coast, meaning you can choose between hiking, biking or even horse riding through the National Park or a day at the seaside. Take the ferry across to the Isle of Wight or head down to the pretty village of Milford-on-Sea and you can walk out to Hurst Castle. This 16th century fortress was built by Henry VIII and offers stunning views out to sea and across to the Isle of Wight.
