Nestled amongst some trees on a hillside overlooking the sea and St. Michael’s Mount, Willow Green Cabin offers couples a cosy Cornish escape. Set between the beautiful St. Ives and the harbour town of Penzance, this charming wooden cabin enjoys stunning views of this iconic area of Cornwall. Sea vistas take in Mount’s Bay and the Lizard Peninsula on one side and the Cornish countryside on the other, you can even see as far as the famous clay pits of St. Austell. Spend your days exploring the cobbled streets of St. Ives or relaxing at the beach before returning to the cabin to watch the sunset over the sea.
Step inside Willow Green Cabin and the Scandi-style furnishings and the wood walls and detailing are warm and welcoming. An open-plan kitchen and living area is fully-equipped with high-quality appliances and luxurious touches. In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook up all your favourite meals, including solid oak work surfaces, an induction hob and a dishwasher. There’s also a dining table that seats up to four. The cosy living area is the perfect spot to curl up in the evening with a book or in front of a good film. There’s a modern electric stove in the style of a traditional wood burner that will keep you warm even on chilly nights and an LED TV which doubles as a speaker. The comfy clic clac sofa-bed can be transformed in seconds.
The gorgeous bedroom features plenty of storage space thanks to a built-in wardrobe but the star of the show is the sumptuous double bed. You’ll be treated to a fabulous night’s sleep with the luxurious Casper mattress and bedding. The bathroom is next door with a powerful electric shower and a charming porthole with views down to the sea.
Outside, you’ll find a lovely terraced area with comfy outdoor furniture where you can relax and take in a bit of that Cornish sunshine. A short stroll down the road and you’ll find the charming White Hart Inn and just a little further on is the Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens. You can be in either St. Ives or Penzance in just 10 minutes by car. Or, head down to Marazion to the lovely beach and the crossing to St. Michael’s Mount, the stunning tidal island.

Leave a reviewWe spent a wonderful week in the Green Willow cabin. The cabin is comfortable and cosy and the views outstanding. A short drive away from Penzance and St Ives, the location is perfect to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. Jacob and family are the loveliest hosts, they gave us very useful tips to enjoy our time in Cornwall.

A perfect stay - from a wonderful welcome from the family, to their very helpful suggestions where to walk around the area, to the high standard of accommodation. the whole stay was great

We had a lovely time. 'Small but perfectly formed' is an overused expression but right on the money for this lovely space. The thing that stood out for us was the attention to detail by Jacob and family to make the stay effortless - coffee pods for the machine, spare pair of binoculars to look at the views and if you look up at the ceiling, all the lighting cables have been chased in with rope for a complete Scandi vibe. Well equipped, peaceful, welcoming hosts and great base to explore the local area. Appreciated the designated parking too.

We had a lovely stay at this high-end, perfectly described cabin. Nice welcome from Jacob and family and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into making the space work well (everything from the hot/cold tap to the way the ceiling cabling has been chased in with rope for a seamless Scandi cabin vibe). The location is quiet but Penzance, St. Ives and Lands End are in easy reach. Try the White Hart for Sunday lunch and the circular walk to Castle an Dinas for a bit of exercise. Would return!
