This delightful, handcrafted log cabin provides cosy accommodation for two in a beautiful location. Set on the border between Herefordshire and Worcestershire, there are stunning views over the rolling countryside. Sit out on your private patio area and soak it all up or perhaps enjoy the view from the comfort of your wood fired hot tub. Go for long walks, stopping off at the local pub along the way, or book yourselves in for some riding lessons and explore the area on horseback. The cabin is located at the Tipton Hall Riding School which offers lessons and hacks for everyone from complete beginners to experienced riders.
Step inside and you’ll find yourself in an open plan living area that feels bright and spacious during the day thanks to large windows and patio doors that help you make the most of that fantastic view. In the evenings, soft lighting and the warm tones of the timber create a cosy hideaway where you can snuggle up with a glass of wine in front of the smart TV. To one side of the space, you’ll find a well equipped kitchen with everything you’ll need to rustle up a hearty dinner after a long walk in the countryside. To the other side, there’s a big squishy sofa to sink into, the perfect spot for a game of cards after dinner or for a movie night.
The bedroom is tucked away at the back of the cabin featuring a luxurious king size bed and plenty of charming handmade features, such as the bedside tables and the wardrobe. There’s also an ensuite with a shower and fluffy towels waiting for you and central heating throughout the cabin to keep you cosy at any time of the year.
On sunny days, open up the patio doors onto your private terrace and extend your living space outdoors. There’s a covered area to provide a bit of shade and some seating, making this a great spot to sip a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail before dinner as you take in the scenery. Fire up the hot tub and rest any aching legs after a long walk or ride through the countryside. There’s also a fire pit that doubles as a BBQ so you can cook outdoors and stay out late into the evening watching the sunset and doing a bit of stargazing.
There’s plenty of exploring to be done in the area with long walks along the River Frome, across the Bromyard Downs or even over the Malvern Hills. Book yourself in for a riding lesson or a hack through the countryside to see it all from horseback. The bustling market town of Bromyard is less than five miles away where you’ll find independent shops, galleries and a few good pubs. For a bit of culture visit Brockhampton, a medieval manor house, head to the cathedral city of Worcester or visit Hereford where you’ll find some great dining options.
