With space for up to four guests, it’s the perfect spot for a tranquil getaway, offering abundant adventures and natural beauty.
Step inside this beautifully restored former farm steading, where history meets modern elegance. Originally dating back to 1850, the cottage has been lovingly transformed into a stylish sanctuary. Named after the majestic woodland grouse, Capercaillie Cottage offers plenty of space for you and your loved ones to relax and unwind together in style.
The social hub of the home is the open-plan living area upstairs, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the sweeping countryside views. French doors lead to a wooden terrace – the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening drink as you soak up the serenity of the surroundings. Inside, there’s a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons, a dining area for four, and comfy sofas for movie nights or relaxing with a book.
Downstairs, you’ll find two spacious double bedrooms, each with luxurious super-king beds and their own ensuite bathrooms. One ensuite features a sumptuous bathtub for indulgent soaks, while both offer sleek walk-in showers. For added flexibility, one of the bedrooms can be set up as a twin, making it ideal for families or friends traveling together. Bright, colorful artwork and quirky mirrors add a playful touch throughout the space.
Outside, there’s ample parking and even an electric car charging point to keep eco-conscious travelers happy.
Capercaillie Cottage is ideally located for adventure. Take advantage of the estate’s fantastic recreational activities, including grouse shooting, deer stalking and salmon fishing. Beyond the estate, you’ll find plenty to explore in Perth and its surrounding area.
