Bensfield Treehouse is a beautiful, luxurious retreat for couples, tucked away in a private slice of East Sussex countryside. You and your loved one can enjoy a tranquil stay amidst picturesque scenery just two miles from the outstanding village of Wadhurst, voted the best place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times in 2023.
You approach the treehouse in style by crossing a dramatic rope bridge and once inside you’ll be wowed by the fabulous, open-plan living arrangement with a mature oak tree growing through its centre. And outside, on the private deck, sits a freestanding bathtub, offering you the perfect place to unwind in style whilst taking in your surroundings.
The main living space of the treehouse features a king size bed where you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. There’s also a coal-effect fireplace ensuring you and your loved one can stay toasty and warm whatever the weather. To one side sit two super-comfy armchairs where you can settle in with a good book and at the other end is a modern dining table where you can enjoy hearty breakfasts and romantic evening meals. And when it comes to meal prep, the quaint kitchen area is nicely equipped with a cooker, a microwave and a dishwasher.
You can also get comfy on the leather sofa in front of the smart TV, which is ideal for movie nights or catching up on your favourite box set. There's also a contemporary, luxury ensuite shower room off the main living space.
When the weather’s warm you’ll want to spend your days outside on your private deck, breathing in the fresh country air up in the canopy. The spacious deck has a BBQ for alfresco cooking and the deluxe, freestanding bathtub ideal for indulgent bubble baths as the sun begins to set. There is also outdoor furniture so you can sit outside with your morning coffee.
Bensfield Treehouse also offers central heating and WiFi throughout, as well as bed linen and towels. And to top things off, when you arrive you’ll be delighted by the delicious complimentary welcome hamper, which includes an array of locally sourced produce.
