Set on the slopes of the Fjellsætra ski resort in Norway, this newly built cabin offers a luxurious hideaway for groups of friends looking to explore the Sunnmøre Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and you'll be able to ski directly to the lifts in the winter. After a day on the slopes or a long hike through the stunning Norwegian wilderness in the summer, you'll be able to relax and unwind in your very own private sauna.

Step inside the cabin and you'll find a contemporary, timber-clad interior flooded with natural light through those impressive windows. The open-plan living area is perfect for socialising and features a comfy seating area with a wood burning stove, where you can snuggle up with a hot drink after a day's skiing. There's a sleek, fully-equipped kitchen where you can whip up cooked breakfasts before heading out to explore. The large dining table is set in front of one of those big windows, so you can enjoy the mountain views while you tuck into your meals.

The cabin can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests in four bedrooms, all made up with cosy bedding. There are two double rooms and two bunk rooms, offering some flexibility for groups. There's a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a washing machine, handy for your outdoor kit. The bathroom also leads through to the sauna, the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate after a day of hiking or skiing in the crisp mountain air.

Outside, there's a large terrace where you can soak up the sun and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. You can relax on the outdoor furniture while enjoying a BBQ or light the fire pit to stay warm as you watch the sun setting over the mountains.

Fjellsætra is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts at any time of the year. In the summer months, head out to enjoy the stunning hiking trails that wind through the Sunnmøre Alps, offering breathtaking views of the fjords below. In the winter, the area transforms into a winter wonderland with excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities. You can ski directly from the cabin with lifts up to the slopes nearby or head to the Strandafjellet Ski Centre, just 10 minutes away by car. If you fancy a change of scene, the beautiful village of Geiranger with its beautiful fjord is also within driving distance, offering boat tours and breathtaking scenery. You could also drive along the famous Trollstigen road, or visit Ålesund to learn a bit more about the local culture.
