When it's time to escape the stress of everyday life, to reconnect with nature and create magical memories with loved ones, Woodpecker Cabin is just the spot for you. This stylish cabin, surrounded by pretty woodland in the Pembrokeshire countryside, is complete with a raised deck and a wood fired hot tub, where you can while-away the hours, chatting, reading or simply day dreaming and taking in the natural beauty of your surroundings.
Stepping inside, there's an open plan living area with lovely quirky touches throughout, including tree trunks acting as vertical beams. This perfectly reflects the woodland views which are on display thanks to the wall of bi-fold doors. Pull them back and let the outdoors in, whether relaxing on the comfy sofa or whipping up delicious dishes in the stylish kitchen. The kitchen, with its trendy light wood cupboards, has all the appliances and gadgets you could need for making the most of the wonderful local produce (the locally caught fresh fish is a must!).
Guests will love recuperating from their journey on the comfy sofa whilst taking in the spectacular views. Be sure to warm yourself by the cosy wood burner, which helps create a romantic atmosphere and keeps you toasty and warm when the night air starts to chill.
A separate bedroom has a double bed with a quality mattress and bedding, including crisp linen sheets and a thick duvet and throws for snuggling under on cooler nights. The feature wall is a carpet of bluebells on a woodland floor giving a soothing vibe and reflecting the lovely view which guests can enjoy out of the patio doors from the comfort of the bed. Enjoy morning tea listening to the birdsong and basking in the sunlight as it streams into the room.
Woodpecker Cabin is situated on 300 acres of farmland in pretty Pembrokeshire. The stunning coastline and beautiful beaches offer something for all from hikers, swimmers, sun worshippers and sandcastlers. History lovers with be fascinated with the castles and ancient sites in the area, including Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle. When all the exploring makes stomach's rumble, the trip to Freshwater West Beach's Cafe Mor, an award-winning seafood shack, is well-worth the journey. Nearer to the cabin is The Cressilly Arms, a traditional pub great for a riverside pint, or the Lawrenny Arms which serves locally sourced food.
