Romantic cabin in the countryside near the Ceredigion coast with a hot tub and spectacular views.
Set in a peaceful part of the Welsh countryside and with spectacular views on all sides, Dyffryn Ceri is a romantic escape for two. The accommodation has been created using a shipping container that has been transformed into a unique cabin, designed to make the most of the natural surroundings. Huge bi-fold doors invite the outdoors in, showing off the scenery and letting in plenty of natural light. Open up the doors in the morning and enjoy breakfast out on the terrace before heading out to explore Wales’ beautiful coastline. Head back to the cabin to relax in the hot tub with a glass of something or enjoy the sunset while toasting some marshmallows over the firepit.
Designed with romantic getaways in mind, this cosy cabin combines plenty of luxury with the rustic charm of the surroundings. The open-plan kitchen and living space has been fully-equipped with modern appliances and furnishings with everything you’ll need to rustle up delicious meals. One side of the space opens up completely with the big bi-fold doors and the sofa and dining table have been positioned so you can soak up the view as you eat or enjoy a cup of tea in the morning.
The bedroom feels cosy in the evenings with dark green walls, a comfy double bed and natural wood furnishings. In the mornings, you open up the electric blinds and enjoy the view without leaving the comfort of your bed. You can admire the Cambrian Mountains through wall-to-wall windows on two sides. One of these sides opens up onto the terrace so you can let in some of that fresh countryside air. There’s also a stylish monochrome bathroom, complete with a walk-in electric shower to help you wake up in the morning.
When the sun is shining, head outside to relax in the hot tub or enjoy your meals alfresco as you take in the scenery. The fire pit means you can stay out late into the evening and do a bit of stargazing in the beautiful dark skies with a mug of hot chocolate.
If you can tear yourself away from your peaceful hideaway, there’s plenty to explore in the area. The closest town is Aberaeron with its charming harbour and colourful Georgian townhouses. Here, you’ll find independent shops and boutiques where you can browse pieces created by local craftspeople and some great seafood restaurants. If you fancy a walk, head to the Ceredigion Coast Path which takes you along rugged cliffs and past sandy beaches. There’s also the National Trust Llanerchaeron Estate nearby with its Georgian villa and beautiful walled gardens, the perfect spot for a picnic.
