Villa Petaloutha sits at the end of a winding private drive that takes you past fruit and olive groves - ultimately delivering you to glorious Aegean sea views. The villa, alongside its views over the Floating islands to Skiathos, also boasts beautiful interiors and wonderful attention to detail. With a private pool, terraces for every occasion and no nearby neighbours you can relax in complete serenity. And situated just 15 minutes from the narrow, cobbled streets of Glossa, and just ten minutes from numerous beaches, it’s a fabulous location.
Inside the villa there is a large, circular open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Sunlight streams in through the plethora of windows that also take in the fabulous views. The space is delightful with a stunning wooden ceiling, colourful textiles and beautiful hand painted furniture. And unique artwork, pottery and beautiful styling makes it a truly magical space.
There are three bedrooms - a Master double (that comes two private balconies and a shared terrace), the Gallery double that sits above its own private study room, and the Lower bedroom with two twin beds. The Gallery and Lower bedroom both have ensuite bathrooms whilst the Master bedroom is positioned next to the large family bathroom. The bedrooms are all dressed in soft white linen, with painted wooden ceilings and styled with wonderfully unique furnishings. And of course, they all benefit from the magnificent sea views.
Outside there are numerous terraces, perfect for every occasion - from sunbathing, to al fresco dining under the large pine tree. The bright turquoise pool is equally stunning, with incredible sea views and plenty of sun loungers. The only hard decision is which terrace to choose for your sunset aperitifs.
Located on Skopelos Island in the Northern Sporades (north east of Athens), it’s a gorgeous place to explore. With stunning beaches, small coastal towns and bustling harbours within easy driving distance. And the delightful town of Glossa, with its traditional cobbled streets, is just a 15 minute drive away (or 20 minute walk via the donkey track). Here you can indulge in some fabulous restaurants and artisan shops alongside the more practical (but no less charming) supermarkets, butchers, grocery store and bakery.
