Enjoy tea and cakes in the cool shade of the coconut trees, or dine in the pavilion near the pool and enjoy the delicious personalised menu that caters to your tastes. This delightful, becalming villa comfortably sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, all of which have nice en suite bathrooms and open out onto the veranda that runs alongside the pool. The open air living spaces are bright and airy thanks to giant windows that open out onto the luscious green garden and also offer fabulous sea views.
Each stylish and modern bedroom also comes with a TV and DVD player and there is WiFi throughout, meaning you can catch up on your emails or send pictures back home to friends. The villa has 24 hour room service, and the friendly staff are always at hand to help. This gorgeous retreat is hidden in the ‘Golden Triangle’ of Sri Lanka. Nearby is the picturesque Benton beach and lagoon and you are also a short drive from the UNESCO heritage town of Galle that is most certainly worth a visit thanks to its preserved colonial architecture and stunning beaches Unawatuna and Thalpe, Wijaya and Midigama. Other nearby locations to visit include the lowland white tea plantations, some beautiful waterfalls, Yala National Park where you can spot leopards and Mirissa where you can go whale watching. Colombo National Airport is also only a one hour drive from the villa.

High season:
US$600 per night for the whole villa (up to 8 guests), minimum stay 2 nights
Standard season:
US$450 per night for the whole villa (up to 8 guests), minimum stay 2 nights.
Villa Maggona accommodates up to eight adults.
The villa comes with a full staff to look after including a chef to shop and cook for you. Dining is charged on a simple ingredient cost+20% basis.
