This luxurious property is spacious, light and airy, and sleeps up to 10 guests in four bedrooms. The entire villa can be booked exclusively to accommodate a group, or individual rooms can be booked separately, sharing the facilities with other guests. Either way, everything this delightful villa has to offer is yours to enjoy on your island escape.
At the heart of this calming space is the huge dining and living area. With high ceilings and a large sliding glass door, the room is flooded with natural light. When it’s heating up outside, ceiling fans and air conditioning keep the space comfortably cool, so if you want a break from the balmy climes, but still want to marvel at the sea view, this is the place to be. There’s also a dining table for indoor eating that seats up to 10, and books and children’s games to keep everyone entertained.
Stepping through the sliding door onto the veranda, you can practically feel the sand between your toes. This is the ideal spot for some al fresco dining, curling up with a good book or enjoying a glass of something cool and refreshing. The spacious landscaped garden boasts lush, tropical plants and houses a private swimming pool, perfect for cooling off in after a siesta in the sun. You’ll also find loungers, parasols, outdoor seating, a BBQ and a cabana for those seeking shade.
Back inside, the four air conditioned bedrooms all have ensuite facilities. And with a daily cleaning and housekeeping service, you won’t have to lift a finger.
The modern kitchen is well equipped and, for an extra charge, the talented on-site chef can whip you up a feast. Whether you want to sample the local cuisine or enjoy a familiar meal, all tastes and ages can be catered for.
This palm-lined paradise has everything you’ll need for a relaxing getaway, but if you’d like to venture further afield to explore Sri Lanka’s rich heritage and discover the island’s varied wildlife, staff are happy to assist with arranging transport. The historic Galle Fort; the Bundala Bird Sanctuary, where elephants can be sighted; and the coastal spots of Mirissa and Dikwela, where you can go dolphin and whale watching, are all only an hour’s drive away. And closer to home, you can observe the local fishermen haul in their catch, visit the vibrant local markets or watch the sunset over the nearby lagoon.
