Come and stay at BeVedetta Lodges and enjoy grown-up glamping that truly gives a 5-star experience. Located in the countryside on the south east coastline of Tuscany, there are seven lodges, each named after one of the seven mythological sisters of Pleiades.

Three of the lodges overlook the medieval town of Scarlino and the Metalliferous Hills, while the other five have views out to sea and beyond to the islands of Elba and Sardinia. Each of the lodges have been lovingly furnished and are air conditioned. The seating area comes complete with a flatscreen TV, while there is also a coffee machine and mini bar. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and each lodge has a private sun terrace.

On site there is a large outdoor pool with sun loungers, a bar, restaurant and coffee house - with the Italian coffee served known to be a particular delight. Breakfast will be delivered to each lodge every morning, made up of a basket filled with homemade delights. Fresh fruit, water and other refreshments are also available to guests in the common lounge.

Why not make use of the bike hire at Vedetta Lodges and get out and about in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, either exploring or as part of a tour group? There are also opportunities for hiking, archery and horse riding. At the nearby beach of Puntone there is the chance to go kitesurfing, sailing, diving, and windsurfing. After that cool down at 1 of the 2 water parks nearby - 1 in Scarlino itself and 1 in nearby Follonica - for fun on the slides and waterfalls for all ages.

The natural beauty of the surrounding area is truly breathtaking and offers plenty of treats. Olive oil is produced from the olives of the Vedetta estate, while Le Biancane is a natural park famed for its chalky materials and of course the Mediterranean Sea is as glorious as always.

For food and drink lovers there is the best of Italy right on their doorstep. Il Pupillo Wines is a winery in Scarlino itself and Ristorante da Vittorio is also worth a visit.
