This stunning beach house in Aberporth offers groups of up to six guests a comfy place to stay by the sea in Ceredigion. The house was built in the 1960s and has a true beach house aesthetic with white wood, and nautical touches throughout.
In winter sit in the comfy living room around the log burning fireplace with your loved ones, or come summer relax in the pretty garden as the sun shines up above. The lounge area, which is bright and airy thanks to giant windows, also has a big TV for movie nights in. So you can settle in with your loved ones and enjoy yourself whatever the weather. You even have a quaint office space with a desk and great views over the trees outside.
The large dining table sits beneath the high ceiling, next to the french doors that open up to the garden. This is a delightful spot for dinner and is flooded with natural light. The kitchen at Ty Y Mor is modern and clean, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, gas hob, oven, and a dishwasher so no one gets lumbered with the washing up!
The property's family bathroom has a big, luxurious freestanding bath tub, as well as a giant rainfall shower and a WC. Guests sleep in two super-comfy bedrooms. There is one double, one king, and one twin room that features two single beds, making this an ideal holiday home for families or small groups of friends. Pets are also welcome, so you can bring your furry friend with you on your stay.
The house sits in the pretty Ceredigion village of Aberporth, which lies at the southern end of Cardigan Bay, about six miles north of Cardigan. The village has two lovely sandy beaches, one of which was awarded Blue Flag status, making it an ideal spot for sunning yourself by the sea in summer. The village is also popular for recreational fishing in the summer and it is also a cracking location for divers and avid boaters. You may even be lucky enough to spot bottlenose dolphins close to shore, with rare sightings of orcas and harbour porpoises even possible. Sunfish and basking sharks are often seen offshore in the summer.
