Trenewydd Farm is nestled on the edge of the North Pembrokeshire coastline very close to the National Park. The coastal path with its rugged cliffs and pebbled coves meet miles of sandy beaches and is an absolutely stunning setting for this beautiful shepherd's hut. This is the perfect place for a romantic escape for anyone who loves to be surrounded by all that nature has to offer.
Blackberry Shepherd's hut sits in its own private spot on the top of a hill. This marvellous location offers you amazing views across to Cardigan Bay on one side and Ceibwr Bay on the other.
Before you enter you'll love the deck that surrounds the hut, which offers some nice outdoor seating and a private hot tub. So you can head in, unpack and hop into the tub for a relaxing soak in that fresh country air with a glass of something delicious. Also outside is a fire pit. So once the sun sets, you can light the fire and stay toasty as you watch the sun go down with a glass of wine beneath the stars.
Inside, Blackberry sleeps two guests in a super-comfy fixed double bed and the wood burning stove ensures that you can stay cosy and warm all year round. If you want to enjoy your favourite box set or a movie night in, then be sure to make the most of the flat screen Smart TV. The hut also has an ensuite shower room complete with a toilet and shower alongside a heated towel rail for added cosiness.
Blackberry sits on Trenewydd Farm, and the farm itself has much to offer and is an excellent place to unwind from the stresses of daily life. There's an outdoor heated pool surrounded by natural stone walls. The pool has a shallow end for kids but is large enough for those who like to do lengths. For those who just like to dip a toe in there's plenty of sun loungers to relax on with a good book and a glass of wine.
There are play areas for the kids, a football field and a pretty impressive Slot Car Shack for Scalextric tournaments! They even offer an opportunity to try your hand (or foot) and footgolf!
The farm is situated near the pretty villages of Moylegrove and St Dogmaels. You're close to a number of fab sandy beaches, many of which are dog friendly, and this particular coastline was voted second only to New Zealand in the National Geographic. So you have so much beauty right on your doorstep!
Only a few minutes from the county of Ceredigion, another stunning area to visit, you'll find picturesque fishing towns and dairy farms with gentle flowing rivers. There are plenty of award winning restaurants and food producers around here so when it comes to dining, you'll be spoilt for choice.
Locally in St Dogmaels' you might like to visit the working watermill for home homemade bread, there's also a great fish and chip shop and a community pub, The White Hart. The town of Cardigan is less than ten minutes away and has charming shops and wonderful places to eat.
The list of things to do is endless and includes; ancient forts, steam railways, golf courses, outdoor activities, wildlife, nature, walking, cycling, coasteering (invented in Wales!), Victorian seaside towns and majestic coastlines, stately homes and gardens, art galleries and restaurants. And at the end of a day's adventures you can head back to your cosy hut, light the firepit, crack open some wine and settle back to enjoy some superior star gazing.
