The house has two lounges, meaning that there's space for everyone to find their own little patch of peace and quiet. One of the sitting rooms has its own wood-burning stove, and the host has even provided some board games and craft supplies to entertain you.
On sunny days, the kids can run wild in the extensive garden, with its slide and swing, while you relax with a glass of wine. And, come evening, the whole gang can gather to enjoy a BBQ on the patio as the sun goes down.
Whiteford Sands is just a ten-minute stroll away, and offers a two-mile stretch of sand – take a bracing walk in the winter, or go paddling in the summer. The neighbouring village of Llanmadoc has a pub and a community shop, and you can drive into Swansea in half an hour. And, if you're a fan of the great outdoors, then there are plenty of options nearby, from rock climbing and abseiling to sea kayaking.
