Quercus House boasts a rural and peaceful location near the village of Muda, in the Comporta area of Portugal, ideal for active families and perfect for large group stays.
With a distinct and eye-catching design, the home has been constructed using traditional and eco-friendly building techniques. Examples of the materials used surround the property, as Quercus House is delightfully nestled in between pine and oak trees that are spread across 8.5 hectares.
Inside Quercus House, subtle nods to the quiet Portuguese beauty spot of Comporta can be found throughout the home. Neutral decor gives the house a fresh and welcoming feel, with the use of natural textures blending Quercus House seamlessly with its surroundings.
The home sleeps up to eight guests across five bedrooms and has six bathrooms too. Every room and bedroom opens out onto the gorgeous garden, allowing the Comporta sunshine to flood in and dance across the furniture. This design choice also allows a fresh breeze to cool the house during the hot weather - another example of the eco element of the home.
A high ceiling living room with plenty of comfy seats offers the perfect place to relax and unwind during your Portuguese villa holiday. A considered colour scheme of neutral tones is complemented by wicker furnishings and splashes of bright colour with the intriguing art. Enjoy views out to the charming meadow garden, inviting the outdoors in.
Further entertainment can be found in the games room, where guests will come across a home cinema with satellite TV, Bluetooth sound system, and games console, that kids (and adults too!) will love.
Alternatively, take advantage of the great outdoors that is right on your doorstep and make use of the bikes that come with Quercus House. Picturesque cycling routes can be found just a stone's throw away from the home.
There are also yoga mats - unwind with some gentle exercise between the lush cork and pine trees that surround Quercus House. Feeling competitive? Challenge your friends or family to a game of table football too.
Of course, you’ll probably be spending most of your holiday in the water - the swimming pool at Quercus House is undeniably inviting, especially on a warm day, and is lined with sunbeds to laze the day away. Enjoy your meals in the stylish covered terrace, which becomes floodlit at night for your comfort and convenience. A great place to take part in some serene star gazing.
