The sleek, modern Villa Magnolia sits majestically within 12 hectares of lush pine forest in the rural area of Muda, Portugal. The huge, open plan living and dining areas feature a double height ceiling and floor to ceiling windows all around allowing light to flood the space. This creates a stunning spot in which to relax, dine and socialise in style. An airy minimalist interior and large modular sofas amply adorned with cushions offer an ideal chill out zone if you want to escape the sun. Satellite TV and WiFi ensure you can keep up to date with all your favourite programmes and social media or you can do a tech detox and simply enjoy your surroundings.
The ultra-modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to create culinary masterpieces and includes a washing machine, dishwasher and a sleekly designed breakfast bar where you can chat while you cook. Then dine in style with expansive views over the garden on three sides.
The accommodation at Villa Magnolia comprises four en-suite bedrooms plus a self-contained apartment, which is ideal for guests who want to travel with their own private staff or for teenagers wanting some independence. A deluxe master bedroom on the first-floor benefits from a large private terrace looking over the infinity swimming pool and has a super spacious bathroom, with panoramic windows over the surrounding countryside. All the other bedrooms, which are simply and elegantly designed, plus the apartment have their own secluded outdoor sitting areas.
Outside you will find decked terraces opening out from three sides of the villa offering a variety of seating and dining areas where you can sunbathe, dine alfresco or just chill out with a cocktail. Olive trees, Mediterranean shrubs and aromatic herbs frame the long infinity swimming pool and terraces; with the lavender and rosemary giving off wonderful aromas day or night. Once you’ve played enough tennis on your own private court and beaten everybody at table tennis you could choose to explore the secluded pine forest and the local area. You’ll find shops, bars and restaurants at the nearest town about eight kilometres away and you are within 10 minutes’ drive of Carvalhal and Pego beaches if a day by the sea is what you’d prefer.
