The Manor House near Blandford Forum, Dorset is your large country house for hosting big groups of family and friends. A traditional, luxurious and above all, fun house, it’s perfect for parties, celebrations and get-togethers. Whether you’re swimming in the outdoor pool, relaxing in the hot tub, getting competitive in the games room or walking the dog in the 28 acres of tranquil woodland grounds, there’s always something to do.

As you approach Manor House your eyes are drawn to the large brick building that's set among mature gardens. The large entrance hall features a modern wood burner to ensure a welcome return on a cold day. Moving through, the huge main sitting room boasts another wood burner and space for the whole family to sink into thick sofas to watch TV or play some games. The conservatory sun room leads out to the huge, enclosed garden for the kids to run around in and for the adults to catch some sun. Meanwhile, the ground floor games room features a pool table and foosball table for those rainy days.

The large country-style kitchen has everything you need to feed a large group whether you’re making a full English breakfast or an evening feast. The kitchen dining table offers a relaxed, casual experience, while the main dining room is perfect for those big evening meals or for party nights. In the summer months, why not fire up the BBQ or take your dinner poolside for some alfresco dining? The large patio is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Dorset countryside with a glass of something cold before sinking into the outdoor hot tub.

As the night draws in, it’s time to head upstairs to bed. There’s a mixture of king size, double and twin rooms for all the family, all adorned with luxury bedding and thick mattresses for a perfect night’s sleep. Three bedrooms boast ensuite facilities with bathtubs and showers to unwind in, while the rest share the remaining two family bathrooms.

When you wake up refreshed and recharged, it’s time to prepare for a day exploring Dorset and Hampshire. The Manor House is perfectly located near Blandford Forum. The historic market town offers a plethora of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to explore and pick up the essentials. Further afield, why not spend a day on beautiful Bournemouth beach? Or perhaps you’d rather explore the stunning countryside? Cranborne Chase AONB, the Dorset National Landscape and the New Forest National Park are all easily accessible and boast a range of walks, bike rides, quaint villages and cosy pubs.
