Lipsi 360 describes itself as unpretentious, simple and very Greek. It is utterly charming, incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated and would be a wonderful and memorable holiday home for a family of up to six or a group of friends seeking a gorgeous place to unwind close to the sea.

The white house rises above the rest of the island, high up and with 360 degree views all around of the stunning azure sea and the neighbouring islands.

The downstairs is a long open plan kitchen, dining and lounging area with stone floors, white walls and wonderful wooden furniture. It's airy, homely, elegant and stylish all at once with pops of colour in the traditional rugs and furnishings. An eye catching and very long wooden dining table with benches provides a perfect spot for breakfast or late night board games and the kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking you might like to undertake with a regular supply of olive oil from the house's own olive grove. There's also a long soft sofa should you fancy a quick afternoon nap in the cool interior and shade.

A stone curved staircase takes you upstairs and there are two large serene bedrooms, white like the rest of the house, with comfortable beds and incredible views from their respective balconies. You'll find a double bedroom and one with twin beds ideal for kids or friends sharing. The master suite is on the ground floor Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep with the sound of the sea for company and wake to a glorious sunny day in Greece!

As beautiful as the inside of the house is, the real treat is the outdoor area which is huge and has four separate terraces. Start with an indulgent outdoor shower before enjoying your first coffee drying in the sun surrounded by the views. A covered area at the front of the house has traditional stone in-built seating with cushions, perfect for evening drinks and nibbles and there's a large dining table ideal for long lazy lunches out of the midday sun. From here you can make your way to the open terrace which has plenty of sunbeds and parasols where you can laze away the day with a good book and work on your tan. Two further seating areas are located around the house so you can run away from, or chase the sun as you see fit. The views are truly magnificent.

If you fancy a dip in the sea you're a short five-minute stroll down the hill to a secluded beach. The town hall voted to have no sun loungers on the beach, which gives it a truly authentic feel. Afterwards hop in the car and make the short journey into town where you can sip coffee and eat baklava whilst watching the boats in the harbour.

The island has no mass tourism, offering an off-the-beaten track holiday where you can meet the locals who will welcome you with open arms. Make some plans for evening drinks to watch the sun set over Patmos in the distance from the main terrace . Lipsi is a wonderful family friendly island with several beautiful beaches dotted all around. It's a place for strolling around enjoying local cuisine and a lot of bobbing around in the sea. Head to the turquoise waters of Platis Gialos for a delicious local lunch or treat yourself to some fine dining at Manoli’s in the centre of town, Dilaila’s, beside the beach at Katsadia, both highly recommended, or any of the plethora of choices dotted around the harbour.
