Let this dreamy, couple’s treehouse capture your heart with its majestic rural views and sweet, romantic charm. Perched up on stilts in an enchanting natural kingdom, Heartwood Treehouse is a hidden gem with a luxurious inner sanctum. Sink into the outdoor hot tub or curl up beside the crackling fire, watching over your patchwork pastures and the sparkling riverside. Adventure on the rugged, windswept coast or in the ancient fields, discovering sweeping, sandy beaches and dramatic mountain peaks.

The deluxe wooden cabin is nestled in the beautiful Mid Wales countryside and is on the edge of a tiny rural hamlet just a few miles from Welshpool. Its sumptuous finish is fused with the grandeur of Mother Nature to create a calming sanctuary for loved-up couples. Expect oodles of rustic wood and massive glass panes, next to plush throws, fluffy rugs and sophisticated whites and greys. A fairy-tale tree trunk table adds a hint of make-believe and is joined by ornate mirrors and glistening chandeliers.

Climb up the grand stairways to reach your handcrafted retreat, wrapped around the branches of a gnarled oak tree. Sit out on your glass-fronted balcony and soak up the uninterrupted views, or warm up the steamy, wood-fired hot tub and a sip a glass of bubbles or two. Look out for the soaring buzzards or the magnificent red kites, falling in love with the crimson sunsets and star-studded skies.

Step inside to uncover your blissful hideout complete with a relaxed living-kitchen area and stylish king-size bedroom. Cook in the slate-topped designer kitchen or cwtch up on the sofa, gazing out across the landscapes and lighting the toasty wood burner. There’s an honesty larder where you can pick up some fresh local produce, along with plenty of kitchen mod-cons to get your taste buds flowing.

A soothing double bedroom makes early nights a must, with its sink-in king-size bed and indulgent in-room tub. A gorgeous picture window frames stunning country views, while plump pillows and thick duvets are destined for long morning lie-ins. A chic, modern bathroom completes your natural haven and has cosy heating and a walk-in rain shower.

Hunker down in your treehouse or head out to explore, visiting Wales’ captivating country spots and sublime coastal shores. Within an hour’s drive you can find an array of breath-taking sights, including Snowdonia National Park and the secluded Welsh coastline. Head to Pistyll Rheader to see the spellbinding waterfalls or to serene Lake Vrynwy with its exhilarating water sports. Stop off at charming Welshpool and ride its historic locomotive, or at Barmouth’s seaside or nearby Powis Castle.

Just returned from a 3 night break at this amazing treehouse - one of the only places I have ever stayed which is just as beautiful as the pictures. The attention to detail from the owners is outstanding and made our stay feel even more special. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the spectacular views, the log burner whilst relaxing in the evening whilst watching the stars - it was perfect in every way. Beautiful walks near by and good pubs. We will definately be returning!!

Where do you start. The treehouse takes your breath away when you first see it. Everything you need for the perfect getaway. You can stay in all day and night or go out to the various local attractions. There is a hot tub, a fire pit with comfy seating and gas BBQ (gas provided) and a beautiful decked area to just sit and look out from. The large bath tub has a picture window so you can watch the birds fly by whilst you relax and sip wine or read a book. Such a stunning setting and beautifully made treehouse. Would highly recommend. Just a little piece of heaven in Welshpool.

So much more than a treehouse! My girlfriend and I spent a delightful long weekend here for a winter escape from the city. Abigail and Shaphan are lovely, responsive hosts and they have thought of everything. The treehouse is the highest thing for miles around (you're as high as the buzzards and kites out hunting!) and the views of the surrounding valley are genuinly breathtaking. There's a big, modern kithchen with everything you need to cook great meals. There's a lovely, cosy living space with a wood burner and the spacious bedroom includes an unbelievably comfy bed and a bath with ... that view! We enjoyed a nightly hot tub under the stars with only the sheep for company. There are also great walks and nice pubs nearby. Thanks so much for having us ... we will be back! x
