Head to the Mediterranean at Golf Marina, a beautiful villa in Pollenca on the island of Mallorca. This 4-bedroom property has been built in a traditional style using local materials such as a natural stone facade, wooden beams and sandstone pillars.

This charming villa sleeps up to 8 guests, and is perfect for groups of friends and family looking to escape to the warmth of the Med for some rest and relaxation. Upon entering the villa guests walk into the open plan and spacious living and dining area with large comfy sofas and table big enough to sit 8 people. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, pantry, laundry room, shower room and twin bedroom to be found on the ground floor. In the basement there is a well stocked wine cellar for guests to browse and help themselves to, paying for what they drink at the end of their stay.

A short trip up the stairs to the split level reveals another twin bedroom and a double bedroom, each with private ensuite bathrooms. The first floor is home to the master bedroom, which also has an ensuite with separate shower and bath and its own private dressing room and terrace with stunning views across the countryside.

Floor to ceiling glass doors lead out from the living room and kitchen onto the large covered terrace with tables and chairs; a wonderful spot for some alfresco dining in the summer sun. The food can even be prepared outside with a covered barbecue area and wood oven available to use. This looks across the charming Mediterranean style garden with pond and olive and carob trees. Guests can also sit and look out over the spectacular infinity pool, complete with a separate children's paddling pool, which offers you a great way to cool down when the day gets too warm.

Set in the northern foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana, Golf Marina is just a few miles from Port de Pollenca and its sandy beaches. These are ideal for sitting and relaxing before taking a dip in the sea, or the more adventurous could go on one of the many sightseeing boat tours available. You could even hire a kayak or a canoe and see the area at your own pace.

Pollenca itself is a charming and historic town with the market square the focal point with its many outdoor cafes and restaurants to enjoy. It is also recommended to climb the 365 stairs of the Calvari to visit the small chapel at the summit and take in the fantastic views.
