Nestled among the woodland with views of the flora and fauna, Briars Cottage makes a great spot to explore this area north of Melbourne. The blue timber home offers guests cosy comfort in a modern, stylish environment styled to make you feel right at home.

Take in the scents of the beautiful surroundings before stepping inside this lovely cottage. An open plan kitchen dining and lounge area is a welcoming and homely space and a lovely environment to spend leisurely evenings relaxing and reflecting on the day. Plush carpet covers the floor in the lounge area and plenty of windows offer lovely views of the garden. A well-equipped kitchen makes mealtimes easy, alternatively take dinner outside and cook in the barbecue area which is similarly well-equipped with outdoor furniture.

After dinner, slide into the spa which sits on a decked sun terrace and overlooks the lovely garden and views of Doctors Gully. As the sun sets enjoy a drink or just gaze at the stars, and when bed time beckons, head upstairs to one of two bedrooms. The twin room is situated in the gable of the property, it is a charming room offering views directly out onto the canopy and is simply but stylishly furnished making it a relaxing space for a peaceful night's sleep. A modern shower room and toilet is adjacent to the room with a walking rainfall shower and sleek grey tiles.

The master room, hosting a large double bed, is similarly furnished, with a dark wood bedstead and matching drawers offering plenty of space for guest's belongings. A large en-suite bathroom with a huge shower is kitted out in stylish greys and whites and offers complimentary toiletries. The owners have another property next door called Briars Loft, this smaller home has one bedroom which sleeps four in a large double bed and sofa bed, making it a great choice for a family with small children.

Daylesford is a great area to explore, head for brunch in one of the great cafes, take in an exhibition at one of the galleries or browse the farmer's market and Mill Market. The area is well-renowned for its spas. Hepburn Mineral Springs reserve is a short walk away, as is the Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa.
