This marvellous and beautifully furnished chalet sits in the charming and historic village of Andermatt in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Sleeping up to six guests Halbhaus offers a serene sanctuary with cosy interiors and amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Spend your days on the slopes in winter or hiking the trails in summer, before retiring back to the cosy embrace of this wonderfully designed chalet.

The original building dates back to 1780, and it has been lovingly renovated by Tuckey Design Studio, with careful attention to detail.

The chalet has a fantastic open-plan living space with warming wood floors and curated vintage furnishings. This is a wonderful place to unwind on the sofa as the flames flicker on the wood burner, or gather together around the dining table for a feast that stretches long into the night. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare hearty meals during your stay, however, if you fancy popping out for dinner, there are some fantastic restaurants just a short walk away.

You’ll also be delighted to know that the chalet comes with its own sauna, providing you and your loved ones with another way to unwind at the end of the day as you sweat it out Alpine style.

When night falls, the chalet’s three bedrooms all offer a peaceful night’s sleep. There are two twin rooms and one double, offering you and your group plenty of flexibility. This makes it ideal for families or groups of friends who want to enjoy an amazing break in the Alps. There is also a wonderfully stylish bathroom with an ornate free-standing bath tub for indulgent soaks and a spacious wet-room style shower.

You’re situated in the heart of the village, just a short walk from shops, restaurants, ski lifts and public transport links. Andermatt, located in the beautiful Ursern Valley of the Swiss Alps, is known for its historic charm and stunning mountain scenery. In winter, visitors can enjoy skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, while summer brings hiking, cycling and mountain climbing. The village also offers golf, scenic train rides and cultural events, and is easily accessible from Zurich, Basel and Milan.
