The breathtaking waterside location of A’jia Hotel is just one of the great reasons to make yourself at home here. An award-winning restaurant, easy access from regional airports and 16 beautifully appointed rooms – most with views over the Bosphorus – provide quite a few more.

Around 40 minutes’ drive from both central Istanbul and Ataturk Airport, A’jia lies on the opposite side of the Bosphorus and offers a boutique hotel experience in a traditional Ottoman mansion. Its boat shuttle service to Emirgan on the opposite coast lets you travel from Asia to Europe in a matter of minutes – not something just any hotel can offer!

Light and spacious rooms provide a contemporary contrast to the impressive architecture of the hotel, which also scores highly on its extensive outdoor space for chilling out, dining and taking in the views across the strait. Many of the rooms have balconies too, and the high ceilings and sash windows ensure they all retain an old-school glamour.

There are no compromises on comfort at A’jia Hotel, with all of the amenities you would expect present and correct, including a minibar, air conditioning, TV, DVD, slippers and bathrobes. The hotel is particular popular with honeymooners and couples on romantic breaks, and the deluxe suites create the ideal ambience, some including an in-room bath to up the romance factor even further.

In the ground-floor restaurant, you can enjoy the incredible Mediterranean cuisine of A’jia’s award-winning chef as you watch the boats pass by outside, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all available. On Sundays, relaxed brunches continue well into the afternoon, while in the evenings, cocktails on the terrace are likely to be irresistible… this place takes unwinding to a whole new level.

Taking a boat across the Bosphorus makes it quick and easy to reach Istanbul, a lively and popular city which oozes history without being stuck in the past. Among its best attractions are the enchanting sultans’ palace, Topkapi, Hagia Sophia Church and the Blue Mosque, while the Galata Tower and Basilica Cistern will take you way up high and deep underground respectively. Numerous tours are available which will give you a flavour of the city’s culture, and often its wonderful food too.

Always an amazing multi-sensory experience, there will be so much to remember from your trip to Turkey – and staying at A’jia Hotel could very well top the list.
