Three Lochs View is a thoughtfully designed luxury getaway named because of the view from the cottage where three lochs meet (Alsh, Duich and Long) and is perfect for a couple or one person wanting to get back to nature in all its rugged glory. And with your own private hot tub, you can soak up your surroundings in style after a day spent exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.
Scottish craftsmanship and innovation is at the heart of this outstandingly beautiful building which has a modern sleek design with a large covered entrance area where you can kick off your muddy boots. Head in to an open plan living area decorated in muted calming greys that reflect the stunning views outside. Warmed by pops of colour throughout and the nods to the local area at every turn, you'll be charmed by this lovely living space. There are two small comfy sofas facing outwards to give you the full benefit of the view through the sliding doors, and a modern gas stove sits in the corner to keep you warm on chilly evenings as you take in the lochs and the sky with a glass of wine or a wee dram.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the mod cons and there's a charming addition of a splash back behind the sink which shows a map of the area. A small round dining table with two chairs is perfect for a romantic meal before falling back into those comfy sofas and enjoying a film on the flat screen Smart TV hung on the wall.
When it's time for bed you'll be delighted by the hand made floating bed which, like the sofas, faces a large floor-to-ceiling wall of glass with another door for stepping outside. The views from both rooms are truly breathtaking and the hosts have managed to create a sense of being part of the landscape. You'll wake to the sight of the rugged peaks of the five Sisters of Kintail all tucked up in your king-sized bed, and with mustard and grey bedding and a beautiful blue painting of the Loch on the wall behind you, the room will feel warm and welcoming.
The bathroom is spacious and luxurious. Decorated in pale grey tiles, it boasts a bath and a large walk-in rain shower. Take advantage of the complimentary toiletries and get ready for a day of exploring.
Take your morning coffee outside and enjoy uninterrupted views over the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before deciding how to spend your day.
The Isle of Skye is just 15 minutes away and the cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area, including the world famous North Coast 500 route. Take a morning walk along the shore to the castle and perhaps stop at Manuela’s Bakery on the way for some freshly baked bread. If you fancy a trip to Glenelg you can take the ferry, notable for being the very last manually operated turntable ferry in the world!
If you want a brilliant day out the hosts recommend the world famous Bealach nam Ba road to Applecross. The drive is apparently not for the fainthearted but the views are worth it! The hosts are born and raised in the area and are happy to make recommendations and give you some insider knowledge you won't find in the guidebooks. At the end of the day you might like to visit The Fairy Tale distillery and try some local gins before pootling back to your luxurious cottage, opening a bottle of something delicious and sinking into the piece de resistance – the hot tub! - where you can float away the days exertions surrounded by all the beauty the Scottish Highlands has to offer.

Wow just wow! We were blown away with this luxurious holiday cottage. It was absolutely immaculate, very quirky and modern, huge bathroom with rainfall shower and bath. Comfiest hand made bed by Graham the host, well impressed!! Gorgeous views from every single room. Sometimes we didn’t even close the blinds at night it was just too gorgeous to hide. The hot tub was bliss, perfect to jump into after a day of exploring with a glass of bubbles courtesy of the lovely, very generous and thoughtful hosts. We’ve been home a week and I still can’t stop talking about it to everyone. The storage for bikes etc is brilliant, you don’t find that much anywhere else so that was a massive bonus! Did I mention the views? The best most relaxing views you will come across in Scotland. I could have stared out all day. Completely able to shut off from the rest of the world, it was just the break we needed with 2 boisterous preschoolers at home :-) The hosts are on hand for recommendations and anything you may need during your stay and have the cutest little boys too. Really thoughtful of them to come and say hello when we arrived. It was just amazing, I can’t express that enough. Preparing our next visit asap. We can’t wait to go back! Manuelas bakery/pizza by Jo just a short walk away from the cottage is a must. Like walking into a fairytale and the food was brilliant! Overall, 5 star luxurious, absolutely perfect stay!
