The Woodland Lodges at High Oaks Grange have been inspired by an open-plan Scandinavian style that emphasises their natural setting. Set alongside private woodland, these lodges provide a cosy escape from the fast pace of everyday life. The lodges have been designed in a log cabin style and feature traditional details such as antler chandeliers while boasting modern luxuries, like hot tubs, wine fridges and sleek wall mounted electric fireplaces.

When you walk into one of the lodges, you’ll find a cosy living area with a comfy sofa, large TV and fireplace. The perfect place to relax after a day exploring the North York Moors National Park. The modern kitchen space comes equipped with all the appliances that make a self-catering trip a breeze. You’ll have a dishwasher, wine cooler, microwave, fridge with a handy freezer compartment, oven and a washing machine with a dryer all at your disposal. A couple of barstools pull up to one of the counters, creating a breakfast bar and there is a dining table that will seat the whole family at dinner time. You’ll also find the bathroom downstairs which has modern fittings, including a waterfall showerhead and a large bathtub. The white tiles and neutral colour palette make this a relaxing place to enjoy a long soak in the bath after a busy day.

Head upstairs to find the two cosy attic style bedrooms. In the master bedroom, you'll find a luxurious king-size bed with a Hypnos mattress and a TV mounted on the wall. In the second bedroom, there are two single beds which are also equipped with Hypnos mattresses. Each of these has its own TV and a PS4 allows multiplayer games to be played, making this perfect for the kids.

Each lodge also has its own private outdoor area with decking and seating. On warmer days, fire up the barbecue and enjoy some alfresco dining. There’s also a hot tub which is covered so you can jump in and relax whatever the weather.

The lodges are situated in a stunning part of Yorkshire with over 1,400 miles of footpaths and tracks to venture down. The ancient hills of the North York Moors National Park and Ryedale provide both walkers and cyclists with endless opportunities to explore and several English Heritage sites reveal the rich history of the region.
