This grand, five-bedroom apartment is located on the famous Cannaregio Canal, one of Venice’s main waterways. This is a fantastic choice for families or groups of friends who want to get a real taste of Venetian life. Throw open the shutters in the mornings and let in the sounds of the city as boats pass by on the canal below. Make your way down to the nearby market of San Leonardo where you can pick up some fresh fish and vegetables for dinner. Stop off at one of the many canal-side cafes and restaurants for a coffee or a bit of lunch. Then, stroll down to the nearest waterbus stop and you can be in the heart of the city, exploring the many sights and attractions, in no time.

Inside, you’ll find the apartment has the feel of a typical Venetian palazzo but with a bit of a modern twist. It has been renovated and furnished using a mix of antique and contemporary styles, creating an elegant and luxurious space. In the centre of the apartment, you’ll find the dining room which extends through to the living area. This comfortable space, with exposed wooden beams overhead and large windows overlooking the canal, is the social hub of the apartment with all five bedrooms and the kitchen leading off it. There is a large, modern kitchen with an island where everyone can pull up a bar stool and tuck into breakfast or give the cook a hand with preparing dinner.

When it comes to be time, there are five bedrooms in total, three of which are double rooms and two are twin rooms. Two of the double rooms can be set up as additional twin rooms if appropriate. All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished in a style in-keeping with the building and the location. You’ll find luxurious velvet bedframes all made up with crisp, fresh sheets and tasteful antique furnishings. There are three bathrooms, one of which features a beautiful roll-top bath, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing in Venice.

The apartment is located in the north of the city on the Cannaregio Canal, leading directly to the Grand Canal which snakes its way majestically through the city. This ensures that many of Venice’s main sights and attractions are easily accessible via waterbuses. There’s also plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity. The Cannaregio district is known for becoming lively in the evenings, with many bars and restaurants offering aperitifs overlooking the canals. It’s also home to the oldest Jewish Ghetto in the world, with several impressive synagogues open to visitors.
