Step into the main living area, with bedrooms and bathrooms off to the right. The twin bedroom features exposed stone walls, adding rustic charm, while the nearby modern bathroom boasts a large bath. Further down the corridor is the spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, Melin Tregwynt accessories and ample storage.
Relax in the living area on the large L-shaped sofa, enjoying the log burner on chilly evenings after coastal walks. Unwind with a film on the smart TV, or gather around the dining table for board games. The well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar is perfect for hearty breakfasts or family meals.
A utility room includes a washing machine, dryer, clothes horse and a shower room with a walk-in shower. This single-level property is ideal for all ages and accessible for those with limited mobility, with no interior steps and minimal exterior steps. Situated within MOD land, occasional daytime testing and firing to sea may occur, but this should not impact your stay.
The property is within the Pendine firing range, accessible via a security gate from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Outside these hours, you can freely access Ginst Point beach or enjoy quiet evening walks on nearby roads.
The cottage is within walking distance of Ginst Point, a beach near Laugharne known for cockling. It's great for kids to run on at low tide but not suitable for swimming due to strong tides. Note there are no lifeguards or public toilets. Laugharne offers estuary walks, including the Dylan Thomas Birthday Walk, and connects to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Enjoy various outdoor activities like horse riding, coasteering, water sports, abseiling, orienteering, caving and gorge walking.
Explore rugged beaches in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, popular resorts like Pendine, Saundersfoot and Tenby, and attractions such as castles, historic houses and the National Botanical Gardens. Family-friendly spots like Folly Farm, Oakwood, Wild Lakes, Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities, and Dinosaur Park are a short drive away.
