Fabulous hosts who were very helpful on the best walks/places to go but also very respectful of our privacy. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be booking again!"

The little extra touches plus the bbq, bar and fire pit area add to the experience of feeling a world from real life. The trees gently moving in the wind is so peaceful! Truly amazing experience."

The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. There was home cooked bread, cookies and birthday cupcakes for my partner. The property itself is completely spotless, surprisingly spacious and really cosy with beautiful decor and a lovely big hot shower! The bed is very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The views are stunning and even better in person. The fire pit is a really nice touch. They have got an extensive list of brilliant local activities with delicious country pubs near by. Would definitely recommend couples - very romantic winter escape !"

A lovingly restored barn conversion with some of England’s most stunning countryside on its doorstep - Rocking Stone Cottage is the place to uncover the Peak District. Eva Solley says: "We had the best stay at The Rocking Stone Cottage. We didn't want to leave! It was like a little sanctuary for us after a crazy year. We wanted to relax and bring in 2020 the best way with a dreamy location, wonderful views and great memories. The owners made us feel extremely welcome. I just couldn't fault the cottage and our stay in any way. The attention to detail, the relaxing fire and open plan dining area was pure bliss for us. There were so many great walks right on our doorstep and we certainly got our exercise. I recommend this to anyone looking for some peace and getting outdoors. John & Claire say: "My partner and I just spent the weekend at Summerhill Studio and was blown away from the minute we arrived. The studio was spotless, the views and setting were amazing, high quality fixtures / fittings and Emma the owner runs this secret Kent retreat perfectly. She was always on hand to help us with local information and the breakfast she cooked for us on the Sunday morning was as good as it gets. We are already looking for a free weekend to head back down to Summerhill. This place delivered and you will never want to stay in a hotel again."

Cosy, comfy cabin sitting in beautiful countryside, with inspiring views near the Roman city of Bath. Dr Ian Dear says: "The workshop is truly a little gem. It’s so nice to arrive at a property and not to be disappointed. It is well equipped and extremely comfortable. It really is just like the photos, but the views are better! The owner is just down the lane if you need her but you are left alone. It’s a very relaxing place to stay, very comfortable for four but even better for two, we left our kids at home, Sorry kids! The two double bedrooms are really very large. The park and ride is only 5 mins away and very cheap! We took the owners advice, Jane, and walked to the Upton Inn for Sunday Lunch. Book a table in advance, we were lucky. If you love walks, shopping in Bath and drinking red wine siting by a log burner and looking at a view, it’s the place to go. I really hope that this review does not encourage too many people to book, we really want to return very soon!"
