This marvellous apartment sits in a beautifully converted 19th century church, offering groups of up to four guests a truly unique getaway close to the historic city of Liverpool. The apartment, which is located in St Mary’s Church, has been lovingly converted into a charming abode with huge high ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows, stunning original pillars and modern, luxury amenities.
When you arrive, you’ll be blown away by the grandeur on display. Drop your bags off in your luxurious bedroom and gather in the lovely living room with a drink in hand to catch up with loved ones. Settle in on the sofa as you take in your ornate surroundings, looking at the stained glass windows and giant church pillars that hark back to an age gone by. However, a super-comfy sofa and wall-mounted smart TV add a modern touch to your stay. There’s also a circular dining table in this space for delicious meals with your group.
The apartment’s kitchen is equally cutting edge, with contemporary appliances ensuring you have everything at your disposal to whip up tasty feasts for your group.
When night falls, there are two stunning bedrooms on offer. The ground floor bedroom can be configured as a twin or super-king size room by prior arrangement, and also features another ornate stained glass window. Then, the beautiful upstairs bedroom has a super-king size bed and huge windows that overlook the lounge. However, giant curtains provide privacy when you need it. And, the top floor bedroom also has a wall-mounted smart TV and a private ensuite bathroom. You’ll love the main bathroom, located on the ground floor, which has a lovely bath for an indulgent soak before bed.
The church sits in Waterloo, a small town on the outskirts of Liverpool. Nestled on the stunning Sefton coastline, Waterloo is where laid-back coastal living blends seamlessly with vibrant urban energy. This thriving neighbourhood is just a short hop from Liverpool city centre and is perfect for dipping into the cultural buzz of the city, then retreating back to the sea breeze.
Stroll down South Road and you’ll discover a buzzing strip of independent shops, cosy cafés and great local restaurants. Catch a film at the charmingly retro Plaza Community Cinema, a much-loved gem that's been lighting up screens since 1939.
And when you’re ready to explore more, Liverpool’s just down the road, offering world-class museums, iconic music history, the Albert Dock and brilliant shopping.
