Each of the four bedrooms is tastefully decorated and puts comfort first; there are three king sized bedrooms and one twin bedroom which is perfect for children. Two family bathrooms and one ensuite in the master bedroom ensure everyone has their own privacy and there will be no fights to use the facilities! Outside, the terrace can be used for dining or a refreshing glass of wine, with steps that lead straight down into the pool. And if the temperature at night is a little high, the air conditioning will surely be a welcomed addition.

Positioned just north of the Old Town, guests are able to walk to all the key spots that Dubrovnik is famed for, as well as some glorious sea swimming spots which can be discovered by ambling along the coast. Food and drinks are aplenty here, with restaurants and cliff side bars making the most of the views across the bay. Sunsets here are to die for, so timing meals or drinks at least once will really pay off. Fans of 'Game of Thrones' will recognise many areas of The Old Town as they walk around, while history lovers will be dazzled by the ancient architecture, cobbled lanes and seemingly endless steps up the hill. And when ready, a few minutes' walk back to the comfort and style of The Captains Villa for the night will feel like such a treat.
