With six cottages in total (sleeping from two to six guests), The Cottages offering the perfect setting for a dream escape whether a couple, family, golfer, heritage hound or simply relaxing. Thatched cottages, stone walls, exposed beams and open Jotul log effect fires, the cottages are full of traditional features and decorated in cosy cottage style with traditional quilts, farmhouse kitchens and roses around the door. Lovingly renovated to provide an exceptionally high standard of self-catering accommodation with either stunning sea views or picturesque garden outlooks these cottages delight all that stay.
Venture beyond the cottage gates there are a myriad of wonderful things to see and do. The immediate area offers lots of choice in terms of beach side cafes, restaurants, coastal and river walks and an abundance of excellent golf courses (over 40 within an hours drive). The Cottages are superbly set within The Boyne Valley (Ireland's Heritage Capital) and birthplace of Ireland’s Ancient East, offering the perfect base from which to explore the mysterious and ancient beauty in the surrounding area such as UNESCO World Heritage site of Newgrange, the site of The Battle of the Boyne, the Boyne Valley drive and the Boyne Valley Garden Trail (among which The Cottages are listed). The historic town of Drogheda is just 10 minutes drive.
Parking is included in your stay and there are two electric vehicle charging points onsite meaning you can relax in the comfort of your cottage while your car powers up for tomorrow’s adventure.
Easily accessible by ferry or plane with Dublin airport just 25 minutes from the cottage gates. The vibrant beat of Dublin City's heart just 45 minutes away and well serviced by public transport.?
