Chapmans Peak Lodge is a luxurious holiday home near Cape Town, South Africa. Perfect for families or big groups of friends, the accommodation sleeps up to 10 lucky guests in five bedrooms and has lots of space for everyone to relax and socialise. You’ll also have your own pool with a sunny deck area and a private yoga studio. The retreat is located in Noordhoek, a laid-back coastal suburb that overlooks a glorious sandy beach, popular with surfers, walkers and horseback riders.

The lodge sits on just under an acre of private land, in a safe and secure environment. One of the original houses in the area, it was built with stone from Chapmans Peak, a mountain on the western side of the beautiful Cape peninsular that gives the stay its name. The property has been fully refurbished and beautifully finished, perfectly blending rustic Cape charm with modern design and all the creature comforts you could wish for.

At the heart of the home is a stunning living area, a lovely place for guests to relax and unwind. It boasts lots of comfy seating around a huge 80” smart TV – complete with Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Netflix, ideal for family movie nights – and a log-burning stove for a cosy ambience. Backing onto the living room is the first of two dining areas, a light and airy space with seating for up to 12 guests. Here you can enjoy meals prepped in the home’s fully equipped kitchen and plan out your next Cape adventure.

A real highlight of this stay is the outdoor space, where the group can cool down in the private pool, or sunbathe on the loungers and take in the spectacular mountain views. Fancy dining alfresco? Guests can make use of the additional outdoor dining area or fire up the Braai for a traditional South African barbecue. And don’t forget the yoga and dance studio, perfect for some sensual relaxation or working up a sweat.

Five delightful bedrooms are waiting when it's time to unwind and the home features one king size, two queens and two twin rooms. Each room is super spacious and features sumptuous beds with crisp linen that all but guarantee a good night’s rest. The home has four modern bathrooms with showers and/or baths. Fluffy towels and toiletries are provided.

The lodge couldn’t be better located as a base to discover Noordhoek and the surrounding area. Noordhoek beach is a 10-minute stroll from the house, and offers a glorious stretch of golden sand as far as the eye can see. The village itself is also just a short walk and has a good selection of shops, cafes, bakeries and a popular micro-brewery. Tours, tastings and fine dining are on offer at nearby Cape Point Vineyards, whilst the famous Champans Peak Drive provides incredible mountain and sea views.
