Escape to the beautiful, scenic Powys countryside and enjoy a relaxing rural break in a unique space that seamlessly blends in with the sweeping hillside. The Burrow is a marvellous holiday home that sits amongst green fields and farmland, offering you a tranquil and quiet spot for your next break. This pretty home is built into the hillside, and even has grass growing on its roof.
This property really is remote, and sits down the end of a track. The owners live 300m away, however, you won’t see them during your stay as you’re guaranteed ultimate privacy and tranquility.
Inside you have a supremely stylish, modern living space that’s open plan and filled with natural light. You can throw open the folding glass doors and bring the outside in, flooding the space with fresh country air and sunshine. The living area is open plan, with a modern kitchen - complete with a cooker, fridge, and dishwasher. There open living area also has a spacious dining table, and a comfy lounge. Stretch out on the sofa next to the wood burning fireplace and enjoy cosy evenings in.
The Burrow also has a wonderful main bedroom, that’s complete with a comfy bed and a large, free-standing, copper bath tub for that added slice of luxury. After a day out and about you can head home and hop in for a soak before spending the evening with your loved ones. There’s also a bunk room with space for three that also has its own large double shower.
Outdoors there’s plenty more on offer. You can cosy up next to the fire pit long into the night, or spend hours soaking in your own private hot tub. Or, why not go for a stroll down to the stream and enjoy your lunch on the picnic bench? The Burrow is an ideal holiday home for animal lovers. Badgers, foxes and deer are all nearby along with a vast array of birdlife. You can see all of these in your surroundings, especially down by the pond where you may even catch a glimpse of the elusive otters.
Lovers of the great outdoors will also have plenty to do. There are a number of great trails that you can access from your door, which take you all around this amazing part of Wales. If you want to pop to the pub though, you may have to drive as it’s 11 miles away. The town of Ludlow is about half an hour away in the car and has some amazing restaurants and pubs making it an ideal spot for foodies.
You may also want to head out on one of a number of day trips, visiting castle ruins or even the fascinating Knighton Observatory. There are also horse riding opportunities nearby as well as a kite feeding station.

Changeover days are Monday and Friday. Guests can opt for a 3 night weekend stay, a 4 night weekday stay or a full week stay.
