This lovely modernised shepherd's hut is one of three on the site within a glorious wildflower meadow, and would be ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking peace and quiet beneath the vast skies of Norfolk.
Tabitha is a lovely rustic getaway with all the mod cons. The interior has been cleverly crafted to accommodate all your needs without being cramped.
At one end you'll find soft cosy armchairs facing a wood-burning stove, ideal for chilly nights and bottled of wine. The entire end of the lounge area has a sliding glass panel allowing sunlight to stream in during the day, and opening on to a darling little terrace where the hosts have thoughtfully placed a two seater table for star gazing and alfresco dining.
The kitchen area to the centre of the hut is modern and fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up a quick breakfast or a romantic supper.
At the other end of the hut you'll find a large double bed nestled cosily in its own room with crisp linens and warm blankets, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
The hut also has an electric heater, is fully insulated and has double glazed windows.
In the morning you can freshen up in the en-suite shower room (don't forget to pop your provided towels on the heated rail), and take advantage of the complimentary toiletries, before making a coffee and heading out to the terrace where the view of the sunrise is stunning.
Right next to Tabitha in a horse trailer, is a private, wood-fired sauna which can be booked as an optional extra. To the rear of the trailer is an outdoor shower where you can cool down and feel the breeze on your skin.
You'll be surrounded by lovely countryside so feel free to laze about and have a picnic, or lie back and star gaze at night. There are two resident dogs who are friendly and might pop by to say hello.
Whilst you will be in glorious solitude, you'll be delighted to find you're only minutes from Norwich should you fancy a day out exploring. The Norfolk Broads and the gorgeous North Norfolk beaches are close by too. So, you'll have the best of both worlds.
If you're bringing a bike the hosts recommend you cycle The Rebellion Way, not only a lovely way to see the area but also entirely flat!
You can also enjoy a more unique way of travelling into town by hiring a paddle boat and making your way down the river Yare.
For a pint you can stroll into Hethersett and patronise The King's Head or The Queen's Head, both of which serve food. The King's Head is dog friendly.
